Today, I’m celebrating a big milestone. I just completed edits to The Sentinel’s Call. The very experienced editor Peter Lavery, provided some excellent feedback and helped trim it down to 175,000 words. It’s already been shipped to my agent, John Richard Parker, and will hopefully find a home with a publisher soon.
This big milestone comes just a couple of weeks after I completed edits and revisions to Set In Stone. The extremely talented editor, Joshua Essoe, helped trim it down and identify a few lingering weaknesses. After pounding all those out, the manuscript was delivered to John Parker for review. I am very thrilled with the novel, and fully expect great things from it. Beta readers are already clamoring for the sequel, which will be the next big project.
In the near term, I need to wrap up a couple of maps on the two recently submitted manuscripts. Then I plan to e-publish my urban fantasy novella, Saving Face. Michelle Wilber has been helping me develop artwork for a cover, but I need to complete a few revisions first.
So, lots of exciting things happening. Hopefully I’ll have lots of new announcements coming soon.
