It’s 2021, and this is going to be a great year for Petralist fans!
Last year I didn’t post a lot of updates. Sorry about that. I was too busy immersed in the final chapters of the Petralist series. Yes, that’s right, chapters.
I had planned on releasing one more major title in the series, but there’s too much story remaining to fit in even one huge book. So the good news is that there will be TWO more books in the main series.
And the GREAT news is that they’re just about done! Even better, I’ll be releasing another prequel origins story at the same time. This one will be from Aunt Ailsa’s point of view, and it’s a great little read.
So here’s how it stands right now:
- By the end of April, I plan to release The King’s Craft – book six of the Petralist. I do not have a confirmed date yet. That will depend on finalizing the epic new cover, completing formatting, and a host of other publishing-related tasks that unfortunately take time. But edits are 99% complete, so I should have a firm date very soon.
- Roughly one month after that – so approximately end of May – I will release Builder of Intrigue – Ailsa’s origins story.
- Roughly one month after that, – approximately end of June – I will release Blood of the Tallan, the final epic installment of the Petralist!
I’ll have cover reveals very soon, as well as the descriptive blurbs. I’m super thrilled to get these amazing books into your hands. They are fittingly epic final installments for this epic series.
In other news, the Facetakers series is DONE!
Yup, I released Aeon Champion in the fall. It’s such an epic, amazing thrill ride through history. If you haven’t picked up the Facetakers, you can grab them all and read the entire series.
And looking forward to my next projects, I’ll have some exciting announcements regarding brand new stories in the near future.
Until then, look deep, see clear, and eat lots of sweetbread!
