I am celebrating a big milestone today. I just signed an agent/author agreement with the ZENO Agency out of London, England.
They have offered to represent The Sentinel’s Call, an epic fantasy novel which is the first book in a fast-paced epic series. I can’t say how thrilled I am to be working with John Parker and John Berlyne from ZENO. Right now I am making a few edits as we prepare to approach publishers with the completed manuscript.
Here’s the book blurb:
THE SENTINEL’S CALL
Kevlin’s career as a mercenary ended in disaster. The woman he loved tried to murder him, and he’s now a hunted man. He’s convinced things can’t get any worse.
He’s wrong.
In a remote wilderness, Kevlin’s fate becomes tied to a magically-gifted Sentinel who is abducted by the empire’s deadliest enemies. Kevlin, now Steward of the Sentinel’s ancient power, swears to rescue him before the empire’s greatest weapon is destroyed.
That’s when things really start to go bad.
The result is a fast-paced epic fantasy filled with unique characters, explosive magic, and allies as likely to kill Kevlin as help him. Ultimately, Kevlin’s drive to save one man’s life risks plunging the empire into cataclysmic destruction. But saving the empire might cost Kevlin his very soul.

What made you decide on ZENO as an agency?
I met John Parker at ZENO at the World Fantasy Convention back in October of 2010. He was one of several agents who gave me their cards during the convention. When I completed final edits to my novel in January, I sent him some sample chapters and he really liked them. If I hadn’t met him in person, I probably wouldn’t have thought to look overseas. But that’s the beauty of those conventions – networking is priceless.
Great news, Frank. Your success is inspirational to the rest of the Quindecim Writer’s Group.
